Hi, I’m Rakshit Goyal

— Chief Career Strategist and Founder at That Indian Coach. For more than 12 years, I’ve helped students, professionals, and career changers navigate some of the most important decisions of their lives. My coaching journey wasn’t a straight line; it began with uncertainty, detours, and plenty of trial and error before I found my true calling. I began my career as an underpaid recruitment consultant in India, learning firsthand how difficult it can be to secure the right role without proper guidance. From there, I co-founded a UN-endorsed non-profit organization that trained over 5,000 students, earning a National Entrepreneurship Award from TATA for innovation in education.

My path then led me to pursue a master’s degree in the US and transition into the corporate world, where I worked at Amazon, Microsoft, and OYO, gaining insider knowledge of how top companies hire, grow, and retain talent. These experiences shaped my belief that career success isn’t just about having the proper resume; it’s about having a strategy, confidence, and authentic human connections that open doors and sustain growth.
